About

I majored in business, not history. I was in sales when I was not home-schooling my four children. In recent years, I was caretaker for my late, ailing father while I was retrieving artifacts from a site. Erosion and flooding were bringing quite a few to the surface on developed private property.

As for my interest in history, I have become a life-long student. At about thirty, I began researching the history of Christianity and other religions. I also studied world history, especially monarchies. While I home-schooled my children a few years later, my fascination with history continued to grow.

I will be relying on the work of historians, who have researched the history of many people. Also, I will rely on the efforts of archaeologists, who have studied ancient cultures throughout the world. I have composed three galleries to feature my own artifact discoveries. These can be accessed in both “The Stone Age” and the “Ancient Matter: For Kids” sections.

For years, I have been gathering artifacts with the hope of preserving a site where there may be a village. Hopefully, my efforts will inspire others to preserve historic items when they find these. Many of the collectors in my area have collected artifacts over a lifetime, in order, to ensure their preservation. I admire their efforts and their dedication to preserve history. Like most collectors, I have only collected from private property with the owner’s permission.

Because I am a person of faith, my writing about historic events reflects my Christian beliefs. I believe that I have shared gifts of understanding throughout my writings which are blessings from God. Anyone, who would like to copy my writings to freely share with others, is welcome to do so.

NOTE TO ANY TRIBAL NATIVE AMERICANS: I did contact my local tribe. They promised to have their archaeologist contact me.
